The famous Bierpinsel in Steglitz, Berlin

The Bierpinsel or the "beer brush" in english is the nickname of a the futuristic brutalist 47-meter-high building which originally opened in 1976 and housed restaurants, cafés, pubs, and even a club over it’s four levels since then.
Designed by Ralf Schüler and Ursulina Schüler-Witte who apparently were inspired by the shape of a tree for their design.
The name apparently came from the building kinda looking like a shaving brush during the construction phase and the planned gastronomic use after it’s opening.
