KOTTI (Sunset)

Blocks 86 & 87 (Südblöcke) at Kottbusser Tor (Kotti) were designed by the architect Herbert Stranz between 1973-77 as part of a larger urban planning proposal by the Planning Group SKS, which included other famous architects like Gerd Hänske. Similar to some of his other designs, Stranz planned a structure that goes over the street (Admiralstr.) and connects the two blocks together with a "bridge building."
